Okay, intro posts. One of the more awkward blog posts to write, because you’re writing for an audience that doesn’t quite exist yet (except for your mom, probably – hi Mom!) but that you hope will soon. What do you need to know about me? Well, let’s see…

• I like ellipses. That’s this: …
• Oh – dashes, too.
• My spirit animals are the crow (Ooh, shiny!), the otter (playful), and the squirrel (easily distrac… Ooh, look! Shiny!)
• I papercraft, make jewelry, play with clay, draw, knit, sketch, paint, print, do digital design, decoupage, and write. I like combining as many of those in one piece as I possibly can. “Mixed media” was a term made for me.
• I want to learn to sew, blow glass, make furniture, and weld. Pretty much if you can do it with paper, wood, glass, plastic, metal, fabric, or almost any other material, I want to learn how to do it.
• I am obsessed with creative reuse stores. Also thrift stores, rummage sales, and garage sales.
• I am also obsessed with my Gel Press plates, and finding textures to use with them. Everything is either something to print on, or something to print with.
• I curse occasionally, but only with good reason. Hey, I’m from New Jersey, but the stereotypes aren’t true, except when they are.
• I do improv comedy. For real. And don’t tell me you can’t do improv – no one handed you a script when you woke up today, right? Improv is life. Life is improv.
• Basically, if it involves being creative, having fun, and the opportunity to be a little silly, sign me up!
